Coaching with Intention for Instructional Growth

Every child deserves to learn in an engaging, student-centered environment where high-quality instruction is taking place. Whether in the role of administrator, coach, or teacher leader, focusing on instructional leadership will benefit student learning. Intentionally leading for instructional growth means knowing the latest research, understanding how to sustainably coach individuals to discover the potential within themselves, reflecting on the small steps that need to take place for instructional growth to occur, and having a clear vision of that ideal classroom. Sherry will explore each of these elements, sharing tools and strategies from her daily work with schools, her book Coaching Redefined, and her forthcoming book.
