Rachel Ashworth has led Customer Success and Support at Swivl since 2017. Before joining Swivl’s team, Rachel taught secondary ELA and Speech and Debate for all grade levels in Miami Dade County Public Schools through Teach for America. Her passion for video collaboration stems from her experience as a new teacher with TFA, using video in her own classroom to reflect on her own practices and assess which students needed the most support.
At Swivl, she works directly with school and district leaders designing and implementing sustainable video collaboration programs for new teacher induction, peer-coaching, instructional coaching, early childhood education, and English language learners. According to Rachel, the best part about working for Swivl is: “When educators share ‘ah-ha’ moments with each other after uncovering something significant they saw or heard on video. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of what we strive for at Swivl and I love it when our educators strive for the same to improve their practice – not only for themselves – but for their students.”
